8 of my current favorite flowers
As you may know, I love florals. We are so excited for our new home. And one of the big reasons is so I can work on my green thumb. For my birthday my husband gifted me the Texas Gardener’s Handbook and I’ve loved flipping through it making plans for our backyard oasis.
But I’ve also been on the hunt recently to find some pretty flowers to paint. Something I’ve been thinking of doing is painting a flower a day. As a commissioned artist, sometimes it can be hard to find time to do projects just for fun. And this would be the perfect way to take some time for myself and boost creativity. Loose flowers, realistic flowers, whatever. So I’ve been doing a little hunting and gathering. Mainly looking for flowers besides roses, peonies, and ranunculus and here are some of my favorite pretties!
